Anyone have a folding ladder?

I need to purchase a ladder and I was looking for an eight foot step ladder. In my searches I found those multipurpose telescopic ladders that work both as an extension ladder as well as a step ladder.

Anyone have one of these, and do you like it?

I got one, and its great. I like the fact that I can use it practically anywhere around the house, since it is adjustable. I would not reccomend spending money on an old fashion ladder.

I got one for Christmas. I only used it once so far but it seems to fit the bill of what I need/wanted. Can use as step ladder of different heights and extension ladder with same adjustability.

I have a folding ladder. I rarely use it. It's too heavy to lug around. I use my fixed ladder a lot more, as it's a lot lighter.

Get a little giant, they are well built pretty light and very easy to carry around.

There are great deals on ebay from companies that sell them in various sizes.

I agree. I love mine but it's soooooo heavy. The Little Giant by comparison seemed much lighter.
