Hello- I need to pick up two tires but unfortunately may have to do it in the NSX..the tire size is 195/55/15 tires only..I'm pretty sure they wont fit in the trunk, has anyone put a small set like these in the passenger seat???

Slide the seat back and you can easily fit both on the seat, upright (aligned the same as the tires on the car). Put each tire in a 33-gallon leaf bag to keep the seat from getting dirty.

I carry four NSX tires in the car when I go to the track - a 16" in the trunk, slide the passenger seat full forward, a 15" behind the seat, slide the passenger seat back (it won't go much), and one of each on the seat.

For an Integra?

I dont know if two loose tires will fit...but two loose woman will fit for sure!

I have also done this many times - even with the Dali harness bar and wider then stock tire sizes. It helps if you put the outside of the 15" wheel pointing backwards as you slide it in. Also - you have to angle the two tires in the front seat towards the driver and the wheel side out (so you can shift).

On more thing - put the 16" in the trunk with the whell side down so you can still pack the inside of the wheel full of stuff!

If I was living near you, I could've definitely take them in my other car for you. Perhaps, you can take the rain check for the future (who knows where I would be later on!).

Thanks everyone...wow 4 tires I never knew it could go...I'm only picking up tires only(no wheels) so it should be alittle easier...if a 16" could fit in the trunk, a 15" should fit for sure...I do have a Dali Harness Bar so maybe have to put the other in the passenger seat..

NSXTACY: YEs it is going on older stock GSR Rims,(the nice 5 spoke ones) although I'm putting them on a Mazda Protege =)

Question: I stood one of the rims up and it falls over on its face...does it have to be rebalanced???

Hope this illustrates what you want?

I was hauling a bunch of tires in my Integra once and I counted how many I could fit inside the car and still drive it. Answer: 14.

Pretty cool! I'd help out in a second. I work 10am-7pm in Burbank give or take a few mins with a long lunch. Mornings would work too as construction next door usually wakes me around 7-ish anyway, that'd leave me time to get to the office.

Jag- thanks for the offer...from that pic, I am pretty sure I shouldnt have a problem with two tires only, I never knew they could fit behind the seat, dont know since I have a harness bar, but I'm thinking two on top should work too...

Just FYI - I have stood the tires up on the seat, so they are aligned the same way as the tires on the car. I seem to recall having some problems when I tried to lay them flat like they appear in that picture. If it works laying them flat, fine. Oh, and if you stand them up like I do, be careful when you open the door that the outer one doesn't fall out.

I'd be worried about the top tire sliding onto your lap when going around corners...

No need. Tires and wheels are HEAVY. They're not going to do much shifting around. And you're not likely to do any heavy cornering with the car fully loaded, anyway.

Of course, you take the tires out of the car before you go out on the track...
