Anyone DIY/installed a TEIN Flex coilover?

The trickiest part of the install will be removing your oem rear suspension. The thread I quoted covers that in some detail, and I even added a few tips of my own that worked quite well. If you do it right, you won't need a helper or even spring compressors.

I also put painters tape on the side of my wheel well to avoid damage. Good thing I did because I hit the sides a few times.

That's an excellent tip. I didn't do that, and it almost bit me. Jack handle slipped once and just barely missed the fender.

Thanks for all the replies, the suggested threads and DIYs have somewhat eased my nerves. Will be installing my suspension tomorrow.

For those with the TEIN Flex system, do they include camber adjustable plates?

The first time I did my suspension I had a heck of a time with the rear. The whole job took two days with the help of a fellow NSXer. The second time it took me about an hour and a half, alone. Fast learning curve!

No, just standard pillowball mounts.

When you do the rears, just remember to keep the rearmost top nut in place loosely, and remove the other two. This will allow you to move the whole assembly down, pop the bottom shock mount out and swing it out of the way toward the rear of the car. Once that's done, it drops right out.

It's also a good idea to wrap your CV boots as they can easily be damaged if the shock slides into them. I used some old shop rags and duct tape.

Here's mine sitting on the Teins right after install:
