Big dump of snow overnight in Calgary last night. Before the big dump, I was going to take my NSX out for the night, lucky I didn't!!! Got me thinking if anyone straps on some winter tires and drive it through the snow? Never seen it personally and wouldn't want to do it either but wondering if anyone does?

I lived im WA for a few years and always drove in the snow (never an NSX). I would NEVER drive an NSX in the rain or snow because I would not do that to an NSX...

I saw a green one in Waterloo covered in salt and driving around in snow that went up past the door sills. I couldn't believe it. He must of had snows.

When I bought mine the salesman told me don't even drive it if it gets below 4 deg celcius as the stock compound will start to freeze. He then told me a story about a young man who bought one new in 95, took delivery on a very cold day in October and was advised not to drive it that day. He was too excited not to, drove it four blocks and then totalled it on a telephone pole!

Mine goes to bed this week. A bath & an oil change and that's it!

On rare winter days, my car (with R compounds) can be seen out and about.

As long as the road is dry, why not?

I drove my S2000 for years in the deepest snow Toronto sees and with good snows, it was an INCREDIBLE driver in the winter. The only reason I dont drive my car is clearance. I have NONE.

Otherwise, its silly not too. If you take care of the car, you'd never be able to tell the difference between a car that saw a lot of winter use compared to one that saw none. IMO.

Dave, Likewise with mine if the roads are clear and there isnt any ice or too much snow on the ground I may take it out i cant see me going 5 months without driving it
