Anyone bought rotors off ebay?

There is always a set on Ebay for dirt cheap. Right now there is a set of F and R slotted and cross drilled rotors for $160. Are they good or junk? My backs are a little warped and I'd just as soon switch to something better. Do they fit right? Wear decent?

I purchased a set from 'trinet' motorsports; $200 for all four corners.

The rotors fit well, and I was pleased with them, but the fronts started to hot spot after a panic stop. They were resurfaced, but the person who did the resurfacing referred to the metal used as 'soft', and said it was likely they would hot spot again.

Prior to these trinet brakes I purchased the full set of 4 rotors from dali racing, along with axxiss ultimate pads, stainless lines, and ATE blue - in under a year the rotors were shot, while the pads had about 50% wear remaining. I had never before this gone through rotors faster than pads.

My advice would be to either stick to a brand name (eg brembo or powerslot), or just purchase OEM blanks.

Don't buy from 88rotors on ebay. Bad communication, poor quality, and the rotors are not zinc plated. The rotors fit but the workmanship of the the rotors are not as good as it looks. Some of the lines or slots does not line up correctly or evenly. I tried to get an exchange but the seller wants me to send them back the defective one first. I told the seller I would like to have a replacement first because the rotors I purchased from them is already on the car. I already junked my stock rotors and I wouldn't want my car to sit and wait for a part to come in. Our communication was going on by weeks. Then no response. It was a waste of time and money. The nice ones are the zinc coated on ebay which are still under $200 bucks.

I've bought rotors from Ebay for all 3 vehicles that I have.

Perfect fit.

Key is to find the best price and good feedback.

Also, make sure that they are coated with Zinc or cadium so you don't have that ghetto rust finish....
