Hello all , Im making a custom engine cover with lexan inserts. Im entertaining the idea of "etching" or sandblasting the Acura NSX logo into the center window. Does anyone have a picture that I can print out so I can make a template. Ive used the search for the last hour or so but I just cant find one. If you guys have any other suggestions for a template, please let me know. Id like to hear your input / suggestions.

have a decal shop scan in a NSX logo and cut it on vinyl to your desire size. Apply the vinyl with soap, water and squeegy. Sand blast away. or you can do a spray on haze.

In my opinion, Unless you are doing the car show circuit. I much rather see the engine without NSX sandblasted on the beautiful lexan.

Im making the center window removable, so that I can change over time. I just want to try sandblasting the NSX logo, or the Acura logo on for kicks. Who knows, it may turn out really nice. Never know untill I try. I have tons of lexan sheets. I work for a polymer engineering firm. Ill try to post pics of the completed project as soon as I finish. Thanks guys.

I assume you are aware that (unless your car is a Zanardi) the center window consists of two panes of glass with a vacuum between them, to reduce the intrusion of the engine noise into the cockpit...

HUH??? This is a custom engine cover that I am making. I got all the fuzzy stuff off and smoothed it out. Now Ive cut 3 windows to show the engine. One in the center and one on each side. Now I would like to do something to the center window to like the nsx logo or somthing. Im not talking about the glass partition between the cockpit and the engine comp. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Oh! Sorry, obviously I misunderstood your reference to the "center window". Thanks for the clarification.
