I was just wondering if anyone here got invited to this automotive consumer research event in Costa Mesa this Thursday? It will be discussing a future high performance sports car that will be coming out and the group, called Pacific Communications, wants my feedback. I wonder how they got my name and what sports car they're talking about. Thanks for any replies.

Yes, I attended as did another NSXPrime participant CChung. We are promised to keep our mouths shut as we both signed a non-disclosure aggreement. It was a fun event. Some heavy hitters attended. Eight of us sat in a conference room and discussed cars. We were videotaped during the event.:)

Nice to have you met you Manny at this focus group. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't Honda that sponsored this group as I was hoping we would be getting some insight on the new NSX. Oh well, at least out of 8 people taking part, half were or are NSX owners.

Yes, I agree it would have been really cool to have had Honda involved. I spoke to a Acura Franchase owner who said that a new NSX was slated for 2007. That would mean that it would come out in 2006 perhaps. Honda is probably smart to wait and see what the competition is putting out there. When they first introduced the NSX, they underestimated what the competition would do and how quickly it would respond. Just my two cents worth. And yes it was nice meeting you. Hope to see you in some future events.

Manny
