Any way to use 93 cats with 2002 headers/muffler?

I was thinking if an exhuast shop could modify the couplings on the 93 cats to work with the new muffler/headers. Is this possible? Is it possible to just modify some "all purpose" high flow cats and use them with this setup? Factory cats are just priced too high for me to justify buying some new ones to work with my setup.

Correct. I just can't justify buying the 02 cats as they are waaay to expensive. Is there anyway to fabricate something in there that will have close to factory fit/reliability?

You can have a muffler shop extend the pipe on the header side of the cat to match up with the 02 headers, that's a cheap fix on the cat. That's how my 93 cats to match up with the 02 headers.

As for for exhaust, I'd buy a 91-94 exhaust or 95-96 exhaust w/o the adaptor.

You can easily use the 93 cats with 02 headers and 91-96 exhaust.

I'm GUESSING it'd be easy enough to use universal cats. Just a guess.
