I am going to get an aftermarket alarm in the next few weeks and was wondering where everyone was drilling the hole for the blinking red light. I am not too fond of the idea of drilling a hole in the dash.
I was thinking of one of the flat electroluminescent "scanners" but then I didnt want that ricey look to it.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Whats wrong with rewiring the LED next to the driver's side door lock mechanism? Even if you dont rewire it, doesnt it already blink when you lock your doors?

Mine was installed in the middle of the dash, in the hard plastic area (flap) just to the right of the clock. (The left of the clock would be the flap covering the time adjustment buttons.

They just did mine next to the clock. It looks ok, but I am not crazy about it. I wish they put it in the front next to the windshield.. but ohwell.. not much I can do now..
