I'm getting two of my wheels repaired and will be leaving the car jacked up for probably about 4-5 days. There shouldn't be any ill effect from this right? I put the front on the jack stands and the rears on the wheel(a little more weight on the rear suspension while the front is drooping). I just need a peace of mind I guess.

I think it is fine.

Over the winter (3-4 months) would leave your shocks extended too long and would not be good.

Good Luck with the wheel repair. What are you having done?

I dunno ak. My car is afraid of heights! Left alone on stands and it might get unhappy. :p

you're having 2 wheels on 1 side fixed ?? (front and rear) ??
Another way to do this is to put the jack stand in the middle jack point -- this lifts up the whole side on the chassis.

Remember to put some chocks on the other tires... so long as your floor is reasonably flat you should be OK.

I'm getting my right side front and rear fixed. Front is a little dented on the lip and the rear has scuff marks...no biggie but Exotic car owner code doesn't allow me to leave them like that for long :)

What I did is put on the spare on the right rear then jacked up both front jack up points. I figured this way the weight distribution would be a little more even(?). I didn't feel comfortable leaving one side of the car jacked up...

There is no problem leaving the car on all 4 jackstands for a week or two. As Larry mentioned, it's not a great long-term storage option because it puts the suspension in full droop, but a matter of a couple weeks is no problem.
