Any info on removing emissions crap?

Has anyone removed the various emissions components in the engine bay?

Charcoal canister and evap valves, EGR items, control box...

There is really no good reason to remove any of the emission equipment and it is also illegal to do so.

The car was designed to run with all of those items....the Evap system does not weigh very much and has no negative effect on engine performance. the EGR is part of the PGMFI system and the car will not run as designed without it.

why would you want to remove these items?...you would just reduce the resale value of the car and cause the loss of fuel vapors into the air..what positive effect would that give you?

When I get them off, I'll let you guys know what everything weighs. Then we can all decide their 'value' individually.
