Any info on NSX JH4NA1152RT000160

Hello Primers,

Prospective NSX owner here looking for some info on this car in LV
Anyone seen it or have any info on it?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes we all see it every weekend CARS AND COFFEE. It's been in their showroom for quite sometime now. They were asking too much for that car.

Not surprising to hear...considering the other cars they are selling (they have a veyron for crying out loud). Just curious, but how much were they asking for it originally? Has anyone taken it for a test drive?

Too much? What's wrong with it?

The price i noticed was like in the 40's. No one from prime drove it that i know. And yes they sell like lambos, F cars ect.

It was down to 33 or 36 last I saw. I think it is $33,000 and it is yours now. the price has dropped some. I was just down there. It is super low miles for a 94'. It isn't modded at all. I like GPW though.

I thought you are interested in buying. So there it is. We need white here in Vegas anyway.

This guy is all bark and no bite. Plus he changes his mind more than a fat chick in a donut shop or me with women.:biggrin:

well, at least 33k is more reasonable. maybe it's worth taking a look.

PM us if you're in town. Saturday AM Cars and Coffee is the best time.

Hmm..I called the dealer and their sales guy said 33k was definitely out of the question. Maybe he didn't like me cause I was just some random guy calling, but I really can't spend much more than that on a car...I'm not rich and famous yet like some of the rest of you .
Definitely a nice car though from the looks of it. Pretty much the exact year and color combo I was looking for too...
Maybe if they get desperate in a couple months or so, I'll have a chance.

That car has been there for months. I really doubt if they will lower the price.

It must have been 36k than. Hell, I have the sale sheet sitting at home. I can look it up. They made it sound like some special deal for the week. It sure as hell isn't worth that in my opinion.

I am bad about looking at cars but who isn't. I am always looking for the perfect car/deal.

What would be an example of your perfect deal?

Edit:

That car is absolutely worth mid-thirties.

That is where you and I differ. I think prices are too high on a lot of these cars in the current market. That car in today's market is work high 20's. 3 years ago I might agree with you. It was $36,000 they were asking. I looked it up. I still think it is hard to spend that much on a 18 year old car that has some expensive parts to fix.

Sorry about the delayed response, I was on vacation. Actually (since the global financial melt-down) anything you try to sell is only worth what you can get for it, if you’re desperate to sell. However not many NSX owners are that desperate to sell. I agree NSX prices have dropped a bit, and that this GPW NSX is perhaps a couple thousand more than it should be. But high 20's for that car, dream-on. Perception of value in the current market is a subjective thing to be sure. But if there are no NSX's for sale that fit with your perception of current market value, that can be a problem.

Those that have seen this car....any thoughts? I am having it taken over to Findlay tomorrow and they are doing a safety/mechanical/exterior/interior inspection for me.

But for those that have seen it in person, do you remember any defects in the paint or leather?

Obviously I am in process with this vehicle and the only thing left is the 3rd Party inspection being done by Acura (which will happen on Monday). Due to time constraints there was not any time before now and the time that I am planning on picking it up that I could have looked at it in person, and if I came down and looked at it in person and decided to purchase, there was not another window to come down and get it back up here before snow starts falling (and I wanted the cross country drive).

They said that it has a new timing belt and water pump. Ask them who did it and a copy of the receipt. The car looks clean. It might have been painted in the front but i may be wrong. Find out from Findley if they can find some overspray. The leather looks Ok for it's age. If Findley finds something wrong with it, then you have the right to bargain with the asking price. Good luck.

Yes, the dealer said they have the documentation and receipts for the TB/WP (and all service records.....TB/WP done at Acura of Tempe). I talked to the service manager at Findlay and told him some of the things I was looking for, one being evidence of accident repair and/or repainting. Along with the mechanical health and safety of the vehicle, etc. If the front has been painted then they were smart enough to leave the inside of the "grill" black. I can't say that I expect Findaly to find anything, but then again, it wouldn't be prudent not to shell of the money to have a 3rd party (who knows these vehicles) to have a look at it. ;)

Anyway, here's hoping for the best (I know I'm new to the forums, but have been looking for my car for a little over a year now). My plan, at this time, is to fly out in early Sept and drive it back home. Another thing that Findlay is aware of.......an 1800 mile trip over four days.

Thanks.

I know it is short notice, but it'll be up on the lift tomorrow at Findlay. Any chance that someone has a few minutes to stop by, look it over, maybe photo some of the "shortcomings" of the vehicle for me?

If not, s'ok, but never hurts to ask.

We all know the staff at Findley. They are honest people and the NSX club of Las Vegas can vouch on that. You are in good hands.

The plan right now....fly out on Thursday...yes this Thursday and drive her the 1800 miles home!

(clean bill of health....she is mine!)

Congratulation. Another NSX that Vegas Speed missed.

Yup, he sure did....about 48 hours from now I should be arse in seat with Vegas slowly shrinking in the rearview (wife and I are coming back out the 10th-13th for a pleasure trip.....so won't be staying long on this trip).

OH, getting stoked!
