Any info on JH4NA2167YT000202 - 2000 Silver in AZ?

I bumbed into the owner of this car in my neigborhood and looked at the car for a short time. Looked to be a clean car from my brief look over. No obvious cosmetic issues from what I saw. Yes, this car has been for sale for some time. Best advice would be to have SOS do a PPI.

I have been keeping an eye on this one. The price seems a tad high for the year but still a great car none the less. If all goes well I should have 92 Silver in the garage soon that I found in California. Excited! Good luck on your search.

The owner has a 'prickly' personality and also not willing to budge on the price, not a cent. I was not interested in dealing with him regardless of my wanting the car or not. YMMV.
 
I'm very interested in this car - can one of the local guys check it out and report on the body's condition. Is the paint swirl-free...signs of previous repair, rust, etc. I wouldn't expect much rust in AZ, but you never know.

That jibes with what the owner told me; he lived and bought the car in Hawaii, and moved to AZ two years ago with it.

I'm kind of surprised that this car is still for sale.

When I spoke with the owner a few months ago, he was not willing to go to SOS for a PPI because he lives an hour away. He was willing to take it to Acura Scottsdale. But who knows, after more than two years on the market, he may now be willing to go to SOS.

He texted me a couple of interior pics that's not on AutoTrader. Looks very clean.
 
Just wanted to update the community on this car. I ended up passing on it, but wanted to log on some info should anyone else be interested.

I had lengthy discussions with the owner regarding this car since it was sight unseen and pricing was firm. He seemed to know the history from 3K miles when he acquired it. The car was presented as accident-free and original paint.

The owner did agree to an SOS PPI this time - and it was key to my decision on this car. Among minor items, the major issue was a previous accident requiring paint and adjustment of several panels to the rear right of the car. In all fairness, they estimate it was a minor collision. Not the car for me, so I never flew out to see it. Many thanks to SOS for their thorough evaluation.

missing dome light cover, aftermarket led installed into center console, tires needed replacing, curb rash on wheels. if anyone is considering this car despite the accident hx, you can pm me for the ppi from 3 days ago
