I've been looking at the Cantrell Airflow Induction system that SoS is selling and am trying to find out if you would get any gains in HP by installing it.
I understand the car will sound different (better) but that doesn't really interest me. I would keep the OEM airbox because I've been reading that it is a very good design. Some people claim the intake will give you an extra 8HP but I cannot find anything to support that. Looking at the Cantrell and then at the OEM-intake my guess is it would gather a lot more air but also more debris, dust etc.

Has anyone dynoed their car before and after installation ?
Does anyone have any bad experiences with a Cantrell(like) air intake.

Thanks in advance for any info & advice.

I'm sure there is some slight gain, but immeasurable by any standards other than the dyno. The only difference I heard when I put mine on, was at 5900 you can hear VTEC kick in, whereas you could not with the stock airbox.
