I'm in need of a new clutch for my 95 NSX. Just wondering if anyone had experience with or purchased a SPEC clutch for their NSX. How is the performance of it? Is it worth getting? Any suggestions for a new clutch would be good. My other options are Exedy and ACT. Thanks ahead!

Lets just say when I bought my NSX it had the spec racing stage 2 kevlar in it. I had it for like4 months and one night it couldnt get into gear. I did some searches and I heard some gave it to their dealers to put it in and said the fitment was not good for the NSX. Well lets just say when Acura took mine apart they said it wasnt compatiable for the car that the disc was shoved right into the flywheel stuck so now i had to spend more $$ and got the RPS. Some said it made their car feel slower. AS far when it was in the car it was real esay to drive and felt good till i put the RPS. Good luck on your search

I don't know why you think those are your only other options. I second Chris's suggestion of the RPS clutch. The Exedy is still stiff and is like an on/off switch. The RPS is stiff but is more forgiving on the launch with no shudder. But don't get me wrong, it grabs and pulls like a bat out of hell!!! You can find out some more info on this thread here . I love my RPS and would highly recommend it!!! Good luck with your search.
