Any comments on an automatic transmission NSX?

Originally, I was looking for a manual transmission model, I found an auto tranny model with the right color and extras i was looking for. I had driven a friend's before and remeber being quite impressed by the power, however I know living with one would be a different experience. I'm concern that I will be losing out on the NSX experience by driving an auto. Can anyone comment on this?
