I was starting to have false alarm trips when opening my drivers door with the key. I was aware of the fix as noted in T.S.B 93-007(remove ,replace switch) I was feeling ambitious today and decided to tackle the task.I found a way of shortcutting -elminating the need to remove the window sash altogether. First disconnect locking arm , remove the stainless pin from the switch actuator arm (wedge the pin with a flat jewelers screwdriver and pull the pin with a set of forceps being very careful not to drop the pin) pull the switch actuator arm up and away from the switch . Remove the two phillips screws and you'll have the switch in your hands. Then pull the switch apart like an oreo and clean and bend the contacts for more spring tension. Mine works perfectly and it took no time at all.
