Anti Lock Light?

I have a anti lock light on. When i jump it, how do i read the code. I seem to see the abs and anti lock light both flicker. I'm really confused. Someone please help me. what can cause the anti lock light to turn on?

You need to apply the brake with enough force to cause the ABS to operate. Best done on a damp surface so as not to rearrange all the loose stuff in your car too much.

i did a search and yes that can work. Now, i read somthing else that you can manually exercise the selenoids. Anybody know a detailed way on how to do that process?
