My antenna stays up.  I dropped the carpetted panel to verify all the connections were in place.  I see nothing disconnected there.  When turning the car on/off or the radio on/off I do not hear any noise coming from the motorized part located in the trunk (driver rear quarter)  The antenna is in no way bent as I have replaced one of those before.

Is there a fuse specifically set for the antenna that I should check for or does anyone have a quick diagnosis if its the motor?  Where should I be looking first? 

Additional info,  The antenna stays almost totally extended at all times, however the highest section of the antenna does have about 6 inches of play where you can physically push it up or down.
