so you dont have the ability to switch tires BETWEEN events for the highway portions?from the feedback I have received from others, the hoosiers can hold up if you are very careful with cracks / potholes, etc. are you familiar with the roads? if not, you might be better off with the kuhmo's.I only have 100 miles on my hoosiers, but all california (bad) freeways. I did not have a problem, but some would say I got lucky.
