Another Tein question

Good day to all. My tein mono flex suspension is clunking. I decided to replace the "top hat" with the OEMs. The diameter of the tein spring is smaller than OEM, therefore the "hat" is not a perfect fit. I'm afraid that over time the sping will start touching the middle of the damper. I wanted to use the OEM rubber under the "hat" to keep the spring from wandering by making a bigger hole in the middle. However, if I did that then the top of the tein spring will be sitting on the OEM "hat" studs. I read in another "tein clunking thread" that someone might be making an adapter.
My questions are:
1.Does anyone know of such an adapter?
2.Has anyone here done this before with good results?
Any Input will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

You will need a suitable rubber "upper spring seat" to fit inside the OEM hat , you could try energy suspension.

Thanks for the tip Angus. I called energy suspension but it was to no avail. The person I spoke to was not even familiar with the nsx or tein suspension. I guess I'll just have to keep looking, thanks.

Well what I meant was to measure up your diensions and then comlare to what they sell.

Or you will just have do do some searching everywhere once you know the id/od that you need.
