ok guys i think this is a easy answer for you ,but maybe not ,here it goes.
ok i too was having the "only high, fan" nothing on any lower position.everything else worked fine. so i called brian at SoS ,and they shipped me out a rebuilt unit. i thought everything was great after i installed the head unit, the fan worked on all positions. but after putting it all back together,i relized today,NO COLD AIR!!! none, zip, nadda. all the proper signs light up and all ,do you think that it's a re-charge issue?? (it worked fantastic before the new head, cold as ice, just no fan speeds ,except high.) or do you think its a bad head unit from Science of Speed? or do you think it could be a wiring issue ,but i'm pretty sure i was careful reinstalling it. (two plugs)
i'm kinda thinking that it's a bad head unit.
the one other thing i did while i had the console apart, was i cleaned the asperiator fan assembly next the the hand brake.it had a huge ball of lint all spooled up in there.
but that was it ,i now kno i should of tried everything while it was all apart, all i checked was the fan!,stupid me ,live and learn...
i'm kinda thinking head unit defective...,hate the thought of pulling "Naomi's" dash apart again!!!!!!!!
gary~

p.s. the compressor clutch does not spin, just the outside pully spins.

If the compressor clutch is not engaging, there are a number of potential causes:
1. Low on refrigerant (but you said it worked well before removing the CCU)
2. Bad CCU (you should have gone to BrianK!)
3. Connector not fully inserted into the CCU, or a CCU pin bent.
4. Some other connectors not fully inserted, possibly including the little fan that coughed up the lint ball.
5. Something I didn't think of, but maybe someone else has an idea?:frown:

In any case, I think you'll have to take apart the console again (a pain in the butt job, I know). When you do that, check for bent or missing pins on the CCU, for full connector insertion into the CCU, and for no wires/pins pushed backwards out of the connectors on the wiring harness before shipping the CCU back.

Do you still have your old CCU or have you sent it back yet?

If you have the old unit put it back in and see if you have cold air, if so then it is the rebuilt CCU.
