First off... thanks - again - for the help with the tires.

My NSX [did you know I own an NSX?? Are you jealous!! lol] has a rattle!! I couldn't figure out WHERE 'it' was coming from - for the longest time - but now I know. [thanks to having just waxed my car] It's coming from the passenger-side air-intake 'thing'. [on the outside of the car just to the rear of the passenger door - I'm sure you know what I mean] Has anyone else had that problem?? Is there an easy way to fix it?? Is there an easy [and safe] way to remove it? [is there a proper name for it??]

I can HEAR it rattling [every now and then] when I'm driving. [and when I'm idling at a light]

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!!
Craig!!

ps I don't think ONE annoying rattle in a car with over 118,000 km's is bad - do you?!

It sounds like you are talking about the black louvered trim piece that goes in the side scoop on each side of the car, just behind the door. This piece is held in by two small screws which are accessible by removing your rear wheel and pulling the wheel well splash guard back. You'll have to remove a few black fasteners to get the plastic splash guard free, no big deal. Check the two screws to see that they are good and tight. While you're in there, you could opt to go ahead and swap the black louvered trim piece for the Zanardi style screen to give your car a "tuner" look. There's a current thread that discusses this project. Best of luck.
