anglo-euro NSX meeting?

A question for Kevin, Ken, Magda ét all in England. A couple of us here on the continent would like to cross the Channel and get together with our NSX friends in the UK. DutchBlackNsx and I came up with the location of Brands Hatch as it is just 20 minutes past Dover.

You attend lots of track days, is there perhaps one coming up this spring or summer where we can join in? One not too far into the country...

Or maybe we can arrange an alternative meeting. See the NSXBC when you go for a drive, something like that. What do you think?

Would like to come too. Kevin, you mentioned you had a trackday with an instructor for teaching some details. Would this be a possibility as well. As much as I like running laps on a track some professional tips on just HOW to do that properly are always welcome.

So far several of us have booked in for a track day at Bedford Autodrome ,just north of Luton.Kevin has the details
We also have arranged a social meet at Donnigton circuit/F1 museum

Hi guys,

This would be a nice thing to do. You have picked one of the most expensive tracks to go to though! I have done a quick check and Brands Hatch in August, will come to £300-£400.

A few of us do some trackdays through the year, but they are not really done as the NSXCB. As Maggie said, we are meeting in April at Donnington, no track driving though. There is a day at a place called Bedford Autodrome, on 24th May. This is a track day.

Maybe you can look at some of the organiser's websites so you see what available. There is www.easytrack.co.uk, www.rma-limited.co.uk, www.bookatrack.co.uk www.goldtrack.co.uk, www.octagonmotorsports.com also the association of track days organisers, www.atdo.co.uk, there you will find all the organisers in the UK.

The NSXCB only meet once or twice a year, We don't really have any big events. As we are more a community, than an organised 'club'! Trying to get everyone together on the same day is impossible!

What month where you thinking of? I am going to try to come to Magny Cours, and Spa this year for the Trophy races. I can only manage one track day a month!

For me personally, late April/early May would be best. But I'm quite flexible time wise. (I only mentioned Brands Hatch because for us it's the shortest distance.) Can you tell me more about that Bedford track event?

The Bedford Autodrome is a circuit, specially built for use for track days. It's a 3.6mile circuit. There is no armco, or grandstands as the circuit is not used for racing.

The web site for the circuit is www.bedford-autodrome.co.uk.

The 24th May, now has about 5 NSXs going from the NSXCB. This day will probably be the track day for the NSXCB.

I might try and come down on the 24th May on my way to the www.rally-europe.co.uk event.
We leave on the 25th from somewhere don't know the route yet.
