Anaheim breakfast and drive

Anyone interested in meeting for breakfast and then taking a canyon drive ? Sometime in June or early July ? There's a great German restaurant right next to the 57 Fwy. It has wonderful breakfasts and lots of secure parking....(Ed. you went there once w/ me after Crystal Cove). If this sounds good to you, I'll reserve the banquet room when we pick a date......

Just pick a fricken date ! ! ! It makes it easier to schedule this way. July 1st is the Canyon Drive, 32 NSXs will attending that day. So that one is out.

I first needed to see if anyone responded to my thread suggestion in order to determine whether or not there would be enough interest for the proposed event.......I'm not going to reserve a banquet room w/out getting a general idea of the # of people planning to go.......I would like to get members to suggest which days they can't go (which you did w/ July 1st). Don't worry, the date thing won't end up being a clusterf*#k like the BBQ was.......trust me :biggrin:

My .02cent for the future meets. Pick a whatever date you prefer, give people at least 1 week advance notice, simple as that. People who can show up will show up. Those who can't there is always next time. Either way the ratio of people that can or can't make it will not likely to be dramaticly different between 2 dates. As long as the date does not conflict with holidays. Either way the regulars will most likely show up. On top of that, I can't even imagine 20~30 cars for a drive in OC. We used to do weekly 5~15car weekend drives. That worked well.

Doing the random thing or pick a date for the meet deal. It just hard to make it work correctly. Some want this date, and some want that date. Make the date you picked "THE" date. You set up the meet, you make the call.

As for making arrangement with restaurant. It is nice, but unless it is huge meet, probably not required. If you can only get about 10 cars to show up then maybe restaurant will welcome walk ins. On top of that the drive is the fun part. People can eat anywhere.

Hey guys, I'm sorry for dropping the ball on this one.........I suggested it, but then a bunch of stuff came up every weekend which resulted in me having to make this proposed breakfast a lower priority. Jason, it's not a full week's notice, but how about this Saturday @ 9:30 ? I spoke w/ the restaurant last night and they we're like.........."No problem....just give us a general idea of the number people you are expecting"

This is by no mean an suggestion. Just an idea. Maybe an formal announcement for the meet with date, details, address if meeting location, etc in a separate thread so people can officially "sign up" and see the details a little easier? Sound like it got potential to be an extremely fun meet. Get to eat, drive, not just show and chit chat.

Those who plan to attend PAG on the same day will be hungry by then as well.
