In this time of increasing scams, rip offs, and deceit it is safe to say there are still as many "good deeds", fair deals, and people genuinely concerned about others.
One story happened to me tonight in St. Louis so I thought I would share...

Basically I posted a problem and not a couple hours later was getting emails from a local St. Louis guy - "sjs". SJS has 2 FI NSXs and is our own local "Doug H / Pulp Racing" guy by campaigning a Nissan sports car and generally driving the wheels off of his 2 NSXs. I met SJS several years ago (we were just passing and chased each other down to talk). Since then he has helped me innumerous times - patiently listening and educating me on how things work with the NSX.
Anyway - SJS emailed me letting me know it was probably in the alternator and he had a practically new one that I could borrow to troubleshoot the problem. How cool is that! I headed over after getting the kids to bed and he had it all boxed up for me. While we were talking he told me - "if it works for you just keep it - just bring me your old one so I can tinker and try to fix it". So here this guy diagnoses my problem, gives me the parts for free, and is going to fix my old one for free without even charging me for the parts!
I was pretty much speechless and a couple hours later I had the new alternator in, it has fixed all my problems, and I dropped the old one on his porch.
Just goes to show you that there are still many NSX members in this community willing to go WAY out of there way to help another member with nothing to gain but to see how happy someone is going to be when there problem was solved!
Thank you SJS and to the many other members who have bailed me out through the years!!!
