So, I'm pulling out of my local shopping center, looking at the carnage of a Lexus SUV and BMW that "met" in the parking lot, with 2 police vehicles sorting it out.................when, as I'm passing the police vehicles, a guy asks me, "excuse me, but what kind of car is that?" My response, just as always "An Acura NSX". He queries "is it brand new?", my response, with a bit of a chuckle......."No, it's 15 years old!" He comes back with, "it's gorgeous, enjoy it", in which I reply "I do, it has almost 80,000 miles on it", as I drive away!! Never ceases to amaze me, how many people think it's brand new, and yes, it's gorgeous. Every time I walk towards the car, it puts a smile on my face. Earlier this morning, at another "shopping center", in another town entirely, I come out after picking up a few items, to a guy taking pictures of the car, commenting on how beautiful it is, and how you don't see them on the road. I thanked him, and said I enjoy driving it, and had just driven it to Wisconsin and back, and received a "glad you're driving it"!!!!
Go and enjoy your cars, at least here in the Northeast, while 80 degrees today, winter is around the corner!!!!

I usually drive the nsx because I get asked fewer questions when I drive the car although the ones who do often know at least something about the car. Most people think it's a corvette and I got tired of correcting them as that just leads to more questions. When I had my 997.2 Turbo cab no one cared except for a few dads driving minivans and 1 lady at the gym but otherwise I was invisible but thats the way I like it. My neighbors kid likes my 85 celica conv better than his dad's 997. The boxster spyder gets attention from people of all ages as does the gallardo spyder. Id love to have a ford gt someday

I love driving the GT also, but with the value of the car so high, and replacement parts, worse than the NSX, people cutting me off, to take pictures, etc. makes me nervous. The NSX while it gets attention, doesn't get the crazy people the GT does. You'd be surprised the number of NSX/GT owners there are, join the club!!!
