After eating some my body become itchy and a little numb. No stomach discomfort or anything else. Also muscle get slightly cramp.

Sounds like you are. The itching is from a histamine reaction in the body. You don't have to have stomach distress if you are allergic. Your body digests the squid fine, your body just reacts to it being in the system.

One of the key indicators to me when I eat something I'm allergic to is that my fingers/hand start to swell up a little. That's my first reaction to anything.

if you have a problem with squid you probably have similar issues with shrimp. there is a high degree of cross sensitivity. Also tell your doctor if you have any imaging tests done-there is a high probability of sensitivity to IVP dye

Shrimps if I eat them to many it would cause me to nauseate and crabs will give me stomachache but I still eat them.

ever try the chopped legs of a live squid, dipped in a hot bean paste sauce? Yum..
The chopped pieces still move.

I think I'm going to be sick...

I was 7 years old. Everything tastes good when you're that young. I'd still eat it if they were in front of me. I know a place in NYC that sells them for $20 per squid..

Your were 7 and you ate live squid? I would only eat hotdogs and macaroni and cheese when I was 7!

Is there anyone who was not allergic to shell fish or squid when they were younger but are now allergic as an adult?

This is what has happened to me. I use to be able to eat the stuff but now swell and turn red as an adult. The swelling last for days.

Also the Dr. informed me they don't use the dye that has an allergic reaction any more.

Xray dye is still based on the Iodine molecule, but over the years we have refined the other stuff in it to drasticly reduce untword side effects, but people still do get mild allergic reactions to it.

It is more common for people to be allergic to the protein in seafood rather than the iodine.

Your body changes over time. You can develop allergies at any stage in your life. Allergies may resolve on its own from time to time.

Hopefully it will go away. It totally sucks sitting at a party staring at a plate full of shrimp cocktail and being able to do nothing about it.
