Alonso moves to McLaren

Alonso is moving to McLaren Mercedes beginning in 2007. Honda better make a good run in '06, because winning the constructor's title vs Alonso and either Kimi or JPM is going to be brutal. Wondering if Kimi is moving to Ferrari like all the rumors have predicted?

What kind of morale' or faith would the pit crew, engineers/tech's, and team have for the '06 season knowing their driver, maestro, head honcho, et al' is jumping ship after the conclusion of the campaign?!?

I agree. They should ban any contract talks until the season end!

I'm fairly new to F1, and I agree, one of the few things I hate is that everyone is such a whore. I like the fact the Jenson pretty much went out of his way to stay with Honda, but he certainly stiffed Williams. Not to hijack my own thread, but I was a huge Tony Gwynn (San Diego Padres) fan because he was loyal to the team eventhough it meant less money, fame, and championships.

Looks like Super Aguri got the green light afterall. Supposedly Sato will be their number 1 driver. 2 full teams with Honda power.
