VIR ADDED TO 2012 EVENT SCHEDULE

The American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón will make its debut at VIRginia International Raceway in 2012. The Series announced it will race at the Danville, Va., track for the first time on Sept. 15.

The race will be a four-hour enduro on the track's impressive 4.1-mile, 31-turn Grand Course, marking the first time a professional race series has competed on that particular layout. ESPN2 will broadcast the race. Tickets will be available starting Feb. 1 at VIRnow.com

Sounds like that will be right before Petite. Hmm might see about going to 2 ALMS events this yr.

I am all over this one, definitely going to be a shitshow.

Hey Guys,

The NSXPO 2012 in Colorado will be held that weekend. Probably won't be many of us heading out that far west.

With that said, this would be a perfect event to get together and attend this race while our fellow NSX owners are assembling out west.

Will definitely work on organizing and event around this race. Probably could arrange with VIR a group parking spot.

That would be great if they could rope of some grass parking. I can only assume I will have found one by then.

I was really considering NSXPO even though I have to be up at Watkins Glen on the 28th but the ALMS really threw a wrench in that Colorado trip. Either way I'm strongly looking forward to it.

Reminder bump

Crap, I still haven't got a ticket. If anything, the plan is to go up for Saturday only.

The race was awesome! I had my red 94 there parked next to the Ferrari corral. Was definitely cool seeing the Muscle Milk Honda, sounded completely different then all other cars.

Another Prime member and I were actually at the race. We were down in Greensboro the night before to meet up with Lamborghini Carolinas and we all convoyed up to the race. That area was VERY fun to drive around. i wish I would have saw this before last weekend. I would have reached out for a meet...
