Alignment Sequence

A tire change looms in the near future. My car will stick with the RE010's.

I am looking for a non Acura shop (read close to me) to align my '94. I am considering going with an alternate alignment to slightly extend tire wear. I currently get 4500 miles on rears, +- double that on fronts. Would someone please give me *exact* figures they have tried and found to be tolerable to give the shop?

I dug out the following quote from this thread:

Hrant, can you or someone with it please email or fax me the sequence?

///Hey Hrant that is using the Hunter Equipment?

Yes it is Hunter. ...; they should also have a copy of the sequence by which you do the alignment per an e-mail Kent Shepley sent a while ago (I faxed it to them).

Thanks in advance for your help.

p.s. What is the model of the Hunter machine most recommended?

Here is the text (retyped for this forum) of Woodwork post dated 12/18/00 on NSXCA-Northwest list:

<<Hi guys:

If you are going to aftermarket alignment shops it would make it much easier for them if you would take to them copies of the alignment procedure in the service manual.

The alignment on the NSX is very interactive and frustrating to do. Normal procedure is to do caster, camber and then toe. On this car the toe will change the caster and camber so we suggest to do the rear first camber and toe on each side, then do Front Camber and Toe together on one side, then the other, then do caster both sides since it will change the other two the least. Then go back and readjust the camber and toe on each side.

Hope this helps.

If anyone wants it faxed let me know ....

Cheers,

Hrant
