Just read that Alex Zanardi was in a serious hand bike crash in Italy yesterday and is in a medically induced coma. It is reported that his bike strayed off course and hit a truck head on. Let's hope he comes back after this accident as he did with his other major crash. Best to him and his family. Jerry
"An update issued by hospital near Siena where he is being treated said Zanardi is being artificially ventilated in intensive care but has “stable haemodynamic and metabolic parameters”. The neurological picture remains serious, the update added."
There is a new hour-long documentary about Alex coming to Amazon Prime soon;
