ALB (anti-lock brakes) not operating

My ALB warning light comes on with ignition start up, but does not otherwise show. Panic stop the brakes and the system does not respond, no motor pulses, no warning light coming on. Nothing.
Any clues as to what the deal is here? It would appear the brain is not recognizing the problem with the wheels so it is not doing anything.

Urgent help desired, NSXPO is right around the corner and ALB's for the track event would be nice!

Thanks.

Mort, are you sure you're "panic stopping" hard enough to activate them? The ALB light is supposed to come on on start up to tell you that everything is functioning properly, if something is wrong it should stay on.
I'd try to find a sandy parking lot (a gravel road would work, too but not recommended :-) and try the panic stop again.....

Hi Mort

Has your ALB system ever worked? If so, when did you first notice it not operating? Have you had any maintenance around the passenger’s footwell area?

Fuse is intact. And I know I'm hitting the brakes hard enough, I have a nice long patch on the road up the street I could show you!
I did previously have a problem with the pump running, but got that cleared by a couple of hard stops to unstick the valve.
I've recently had the system flushed (both brakes and ABS), with some high end fluid that lots of NSX'ers are running but do not know that the problem coincides with that flush which was not long ago.
I have had prior instances when the ABS did not appear to kick in when driving real hard on some twisties.
But other than that . . . . I guess I cannot say with complete conviction that it has ever worked! Nothing where I can say I felt it pumping through the pedals.
Living in San Diego it is not as though I get many slippery roads to work with!
Odd though that the "self checking" feature would not pick up on failure to operate properly.
