I just bought one at Canadian Tire for $45.00 CDN. It is a compressor that also has a sealant chamber and tire pressure gauge. The sealant is good for upto 300km and is water soluble so it won't damage tires or rims.

The web site states this product is in use by leading car manufacturers. Although I have not used it (Hopefully I won't have to) It looks like a really good alternative to the fix-a flat cans that ruin the tire.

I notice the website shows retailers in Canada only. Is it not available in the USA for any particular reason that you know of?

I've always heard that tire shops do not want to try to repair a tire that has had fix-a-flat or some similar product injected into it (just what I've heard - no personal experience). Is this product something acceptable to tire shops?

Any additional info appreciated!
