Having someone else replace your Evaporator is costly, maybe $1500-$2500, so the cost of the Evaporator is not the main concern, maybe a total of 25-30%, so I would not think of paying someone else to put in a part that may or may not work correctly. If you are going to do it yourself, I can't believe you would go to that amount of trouble with any part but the sure thing. It may take 10-20 hours to do the job right for a do-it-yourselfer. I did it, so I know how tedious it really is. Also, I have seen questions about repairing an Evaporator. Even if this could be done, why would you want to remove it and repair it when there may be numerous places which just haven't quite gotten to the point of leaking?Look over this FAQ: www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Troubleshooting/climatecontrol.htmThe actual Nippondenso part number is 10PA15c, according to the FAQ.If someone has actually gotten any other Evaporator to work, that's great, but I don't want to concern myself with efficiency and reliability when it comes to the amount of labor and expense involved.Good luck.Regards,Bill
