Air intake mods

It is really easy just remove the driver side rear wheel and pull the clips on the wheel well liner. I used the factory jack. Remove these by pressing down on the center. It is best to be care full with these to avoid having to go and purchase more. I will bet you will be missing some of these. At least I was. Then remove the factory fuel door line. This is done by turning it. Then remove the bolts from the stock intake. This is two bolts I am pretty sure? Then insert the CAIS into the stock rubber seal and bolt it up. Do not tighten the bolts. Look through the side vent and make sure it lines up with the vent (This also requires you to feel that it is in the vent) and stays in the factory rubber gasket. This is the toughest part but it takes no more then 5 minutes. Bolt it down tight. Then reattach the factory fuel door line and reinsert the wheel well cover. Then replace the wheel and torque to factory specs... Do you have anymore questions? It is a very easy install....The CAIS should come with instructions if not I can scan them....

Fritz, I can help you if you want. Come over and we can get it installed in about 15 minutes.

Hey, I understand that the Downforce AIS with uni filter is about half the price of the Cantrel unit with filter and just as good. You may want to consider that.

I agree there. I got mine a few months ago and couldn't be happier with the results. Great $$ on it too.
