My NSX did not come with the little air compressor in the tool kit and I need to pick one up. How much PSI do I need to inflate the Tire? I saw a couple at 250 and some a 350 and I am not sure which I would need.

Thanks,

My 92 air compressor seems to have gotten tired all of a sudden. It takes several minutes to add just a few pounds now when it seemed to be much quicker in the past. And another member with a 91 had to use his to inflate the spare and it took about 30 minutes. Can these be rebuilt?

Can someone answer the original question? I just want to get a cheap one that won't leave me stranded incase of a flat...

Thanks...

where exactly is the compressor.. I have never needed it, but now that I think about it. I am not even sure where to look for it. I know its not in the front of my car, cuz I havent seen it there.

It is the air pump that inflates the collapsible spare in the front bonnet. It is located in the trunk under the floor mat.

They sell compressed air in a can to fill tires, may want to look for that instead.

It should tell in the owner's manual, and possibly on the sidewall of the tire.

Keep in mind that while non-OEM compressors will work just fine, they won't fit in the floor of the trunk and you may have to contend with them rolling/flying around the trunk, or figure out a way to prevent them from doing so.
