Aftermarket oil filter recomendations

Excellent study here on filter construction - actually motorcycle application but valid regardless for all fitments by each particular manufacturer.
Purolator Pure One gets excellent marks - that's what I use on my Triumph Speed Triple.
I do use Honda OEM on my NSX but would consider the Pure One as a viable alternative.

That happens to be the one (Purolator) that I got...but I'll probably stay OEM.
Thanks!!!

Ken... would be interested to see a cross section of the OEM one... Pure 1 would be my alternative as well.

Is OEM (only) still the only way to go?
And is there another source for crush washers?

OIL DRAIN PLUG gasket seal WASHER (Crush-washer): $0.12/each & $0.39 s/h
EBay store: Eaton Auto Parts
EBay ID: eatonautoparts

Anyone in for a group-buy?!?

I've use Purlator filters with no apparent problem. Crush washers can be found at many auto patrs stores, like AutoZone, Advanced Auto, etc.

I've only had my car for a year. In that time, I've put 6k miles on it and changed the oil twice. I'm not raving about Purlator, I just haven't had any problems to date.

i used the OEM one... i'm gonna have to get it online next time because it was 17.21$ at acura here

and they gave me the crush washer free (and damn right they should for $18.00!)

Where online?

The only Purolator oil filter made for the NSX is their PremiumPlus filter: # L24484.

I called Purolator and was told that the PureONE filters were made on a very limited production to "test" the market. If all goes well, full production would happen and then one might be available for the NSX. When this would happen, he did not give me any indication.
