Go with Japanese made headers. They are expensive but they are perfection. I’ve bought headers made in USA and they are not very good. Original SOS headers were crap . Most of the items (sport clutch, oil pressure sending unit, headers, brake lines) have all been inferior products compared to Japanese or Oem parts. The fit and quality of Fujitsibo or Mugen is outstanding and American made parts are very inferior. I waited to get used fujitsubo headers on prime and got rid of theSOS headers. I bought a ATS twin disc carbon clutch and removed the SOS sport clutch because the flywheel was not machined correctly after about 2k miles. I also replaced the SOS oil pressure sensor with a new factory sensor. This was after I replaced the oil pressure gauge unit with a new Oem unit. All I can say is you have a great car which is Japanese and North Americas can’t produce the same quality as the Japanese can. I learned the hard and expensive way. Do right the first time and don’t cheap out. You have to unique supercar and it deserves the best parts.
BTW, I have a 2010 Mustang GT and the exhaust I chose was Kook’s. Expensive but high quality. American manufacturer making headers and exhaust for American cars.
