Does anyone install the aftermarket street use reclinable seat such as the sparco torino by customizing the base? I have just brought two new torino and the seat rail, I can either buy the taitec base, which 1-3 wk wait and 490+shipping, or just customize the base. the local uphostery shop are charging me 350 for both customize base/bracket to fit in to factory seat mount. Is it possible to use the factory base and rail? How do you mount the harness/seatbelt with the new chair? Any commends will be welcome.

I am using Cobra Daytona's(reclinable) with the Taitec rails. I had to make brakets to use the rails with my seats, that was very aggravating. Then once I installed the seats and rails, they only adjust about 3 inches so they are esentially useless to anyone under 5'10". If I had to do it again I would have saved the $500 and bought the cheaper non-sliding seat rails.
I though the taitec comes with the seat rail to mount on your aftermarket seat and the bracket goes directly to your 4 factory mounting locations?? how come you have to customize the bracket? Please let me know cuz I had order a pair of taitec to go with my torino if that's the case, I better cancel it and look for a better solution. Thanks.
