AEM air bypass

It was actually an odd test. They made a special long intake for an NSX and put the car on the dyno, so they could run it at high rpm under load. Then they put the end of the intake completely under water. The water went a little ways up the intake, but the bypass valves opened and none of it got into the engine. I'm not sure it really simulates a real world situation, but it did show the AEM bypass does what it is supposed to. Anyway, I just think any intake system needs a water bypass.

i dont think a CT sc nsx or a stock nsx would need it because the intake pipe is so short. if water would get in, the bypass wouldn't do anything. i dont know how david's turbo, bell tts, and gruppeM's intake pipe is so i cant determine that.

the NSX belonged to the engineer of the AEM bypass. It was used for SCC's test because they wanted to see the creaters faith in his product. So of course, he must have a lot faith to do this on his NSX.
