Hey guys,

I have just installed the 620 in my 1991. I got the factory bracket and all went pretty smoothly.

On the road the thing just skips every minute!! I read in the FAQ about setting the springs for vertical operation, so I tried putting the CD changer in the horizontial position and it plays perfectly.

Can someone advise me what I have to do to set it up for vertical operation? Do I Need to take the case off and actually change internal spring positions??

All advise appreciated.

Thanks,
LarryB

If I recall my S620 installation correctly (on my dailer driver), the springs are now covered by the bracket. You need to uninstall the changer from the bracket and change the springs from the outside.

Give me until tomorrow, I'll send you an email with explicit instructions. I'll find the manual to my S624 which is basically the same model but with the AiNET interface.

Conrad,

Thanks, actually I got curious and when I took the changer out, AND removed the side brackets it was obvious. I recieved it with the brackets on so, as you pointed out, the V/H adjust was under the brackets.

Appreciate it. Driving with tunes of my choice now

Conrad,

Thanks, I appreciate the kind works. But I have to say, I feel like I contribute .1% compared to the 99.9% benefit I have gotten from this site and this community.

All of my NSX knowledge has come from this community, in many forms, over the last three years of ownership.

I feel there is no other car community on the planet that holds a candle to the NSX community.

Heck, where else can I post a question and get an answer from someone like you is a hour!

Thanks everyone,

LarryB
