When I had the engine totally rebuilt in my 2000, I bought a 2008 used 3.2 engine/transmission from another NSXer to keep me on the road during the rebuild. Unfortunately, just before the new engine was finished, the head gasket blew in the replacement engine. The engine was promptly turned off without overheating and I believe it's only the head gasket but only a tear down can confirm.
The question is should I sell the engine as is or have it torn down to confirm it's only a head gasket and then sell? suggestions on a sales price would be appreciated.
Also would appreciate input on what to ask for MT 6 speed with about 230,000 miles. Thanks...
