Advice And Carfax Please

I was told it has a salvage title due to theft recovery. I was also told that there was an amp mounted in trunk that smoked and fire department was called for a "engine fire" that never existed but shows on CARFAX.

Other than that it sounds nice. Hood was replaced with carbon fiber (black unit) on red car. Has original hood that comes with car. Timing Belt and water pump have not been changed. Told me that it is not in snap ring range (I need to confirm).

Any advice. It is about 1.5 hours away and I am going to see it soon.

Most likely, no one is going to risk losing their carfax account so u get a free carfax. I'd suggest subscribing while searching! Good luck, and beware salvage cars. Remember, if it sounds fishy, it is. A fire dept isn't gonna turn in a non-event to the DOT.
