hmmm... Let me know if/when you're ordering, I'll jump in for a set of Model 5's in gunmetal (17/17 or 17/18) if they can make us a nice package/deal w/ OEM Yoko's or Bridgestone's.

Another source possibly maybe IA Sports here on NSXPrime.com. That's his handle on the forums, mention to Son if he can look into it & get back to me!

I don't know if RP-Sports (Tom) here on 'Prime deals w/ Advans/Yokohama. If he does, that's a solid source!

Some people also suggested: <but LONG wait>

hmmm... Numerous individuals on 'Prime have these in 17/17, 17/18, and 18/18 (S.O.S. Seth's CF-widebody NSX), but I haven't come across anyone w/ 18/19, but they are available when I was doing my "research" about a year ago as well as being on the wheelspec's & gruppe-S sites.

If you're just concerned w/ aesthetics of the wheel (weight, finish, quality not the primary concerns), ADR Kasai is a near identical replica:

I remember him getting a few sets couple years ago for fellow owners, 1 of which was 18/19 setup.

can I see your car!?

some more questions
(1) on the 18 , 19 setup- what is the weight of the wheel front / rear
(2) same question for 17, 18
(3) what is the construction cast or forged?
(4) I have brembos front and rear, does it look like they will clear a bbk?

I was really starting to like the work meister s2R until i found they were cast..

I am also thinking of the volk ce-28s.. (they are forged) what do you guys think of them.

Finally if you do end up meeting to look at these wheels, please let me know if possible when and where you are going to meet. I have tecno's now and am looking for a 2nd set of wheels, but trying not to get flash at the expense of going to cast aluminium and the wheels must clear a bbk. I have been looking at all the picture threads and i'm really having a hard time on wheels for this car.

Just to throw in my $.02 in....

I have had my Advan AVS Model 5s for a few years now, and I could have not been more happy with my wheel choice. I had originally bought them for my car when it had a stock body... and after I did go widebody I loved the wheels so much I didnt want to part with them, so I opted to use 25mm H&R spacers. Unfortunately the time has now finally come to have to finally get some new wheels, so I will now have to part with my beloved Model 5s in upcoming weeks. :frown:

These are awesome wheels so I would recommend them to anyone, the only hard part is actually getting your hands on a set in a reasonable amount of time.

My setup specs:
Yokohama Wheel Design, AVS Model 5s
Color:Bronze
Front:18x8 45 offset
Rear:18x10 45 offset

I have posted a couple pics of the wheels on my car before I went to the widebody...

hmmm... The business mentioned above has ADVAN Model 5's in 18/19 (5x114.3) in stock, which fill fit the NSX. They can be on your NSX in a day or so (of-course depending on your location). Shipping is $25/wheel. However 17/17 seems to require special-order, 60-90days.
