adjustible ride height - air shocks

i would like to be able to raise and lower my 1992 NSX using some sort of adjustible shock/spring combo as in rangerovers and some landcruisers. can i just walk into a shop and have them do that ? what are the downsides? TIA.

Every time you change the height you need to do an alignment.
