The organizers have put together a top notch program. It starts with a car meet and becomes a food event, car show, sponsors, prizes, poolside cabana party and more. And, then the next day, we go on a nice drive to relax before heading home.

Our good friends at Acurazine have invited NorCal NSXer's to the biggest Acura event in California - Acurafest!
Last year's event had 140 Acura's and 600 attendees, but only a handful of NSXs representing. This year we would like to have a huge showing of NSXs. I know the NorCal NSXer's are always up for a fun event with fellow Acura enthusiasts and this event in October will not disappoint.
I'm going to be there with my NSX. You don't want to miss this! I'll start a sign up list in the next post.

Don't miss this event on October 9, 2010. The event will be held at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino.
Last year’s event turnout was far better than we expected with over 140 Acura's and 600 attendees. Caravans will be arriving from all over including San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento and Los Angeles. So set aside your October 9th weekend!
Resort
Chukchansi Gold Resort is a perfect weekend getaway that is able to host a large event like this one, and support ample & secured parking for us all! The top lot of their new parking structure is reserved exclusive to this event. This event will have last year’s sponsors such as Acura of Fresno, showing off the latest Acura fleet, Heel Toe Auto, bringing you all your performance parts, and more sponsors!
Dining
We also choose October 9th weekend (Columbus Day) as this provides much cooler, but yet still beautiful weather. We are not able to have a BBQ on the venue per venue policy, but there will be catered lunch, as well as wide variety of dinning experiences within the resort from the Noodle Bar, to the Buffet. Live DJ and a live art show will be setting the atmosphere during the event.
Car Show
We will also have a car show - Best of Performance, Best of Show, Best of Stance, Best of Audio, are just a few of the show categories.
Test Drive New Acura Vehicles
The new Acura Line-up will be available to test drive just like last year (there is a mountain road adjacent hint hint). The casino itself is a footstep away from the event if your feeling lucky.
Drive, arrive, and check-in!
We have worked hard to get a discount on the room rates, and they have set aside a block of their hotel specially to Acurafest, so I encourage everyone to stay as we are finalizing the details of the After Party! Room rates are only $99 a night, which you can split if your sharing it with someone else. To reserve your room, please call (559) 692 - 5200, and refer to Block # BAF-1009 for special pricing. This code is all you need and they will make sure your room is in our section of the hotel with the discount.
NOTE: We have UNTIL SEPTEMBER 25th to benefit from the $99 rate. After that, the rooms we have as part of our reserved “BLOCK” will be released. (Unless you use your AAA discount for a $139 rate). You will pay the REG price of $159 after Sept 25th. These rooms will go fast, so don't sleep on it!
After-Party Pool Lounge
For the After Party, we will be securing their (heated indoor/outdoor) pool-lounge for us exclusively. There will be music and a no host bartender.
Canyon Cruise
For those staying overnight, there will also be a cruise up the backside of the mountain to a local lake the morning after, from where we can relax and enjoy the view before the caravan back.
Caravan Details
Three main caravans WILL CARRY THE MAJORITY of ATTENDEES to the location.
Caravans Arrive to the event around noon.
