ACURA TO DEBUT THREE ALL-NEW VEHICLES AT THE 2012 NORTH AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW
MARKHAM, ON (December 12, 2012) – Acura will unveil three all-new vehicles at the 2012 North American International Auto Show on Monday, January 9, including an all-new compact sports sedan, a redesigned RDX crossover sport utility vehicle, and a concept version of the next-generation Acura NSX super car.
The Acura ILX Concept is a styling study of an all-new luxury compact sedan scheduled for launch in Canada and the U.S. in spring 2012. Positioned as the gateway to the Acura lineup, the ILX will feature three separate powertrains that include Acura’s first-ever gasoline-electric hybrid. The ILX Concept will make its Canadian debut at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto on February 16.
Acura also will unveil a prototype of the new 2013 RDX, the second generation of Acura’s five-passenger SUV. The RDX Prototype will make its Canadian debut at the Montreal International Auto Show on January 12.
Acura will also debut the NSX Concept, which represents the styling direction for the next generation of Acura’s super sports car. The NSX Concept will make its Canadian debut at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto on February 16.
