Acura of Oakville

Most of the people who hang around the Canadian Forum know how great Acura of Oakville has been to the NSX Club of Canada (Erin Mills Acura, too). Without these two amazing dealerships, the Club would not be what it is today.

We are very lucky to have such dealers because they not only support our Club, but Acura of Oakville was AMAZING to deal with when buying my wife an MDX. She brought it home today.

They gave me the best deal without any haggling. I didnt negotiate, the number they started with was the best I was hoping to get.

The dealership was so friendly and so accommodating and just so easy to buy a car from. It was BY FAR the best car purchase experience Ive ever had.

So not only should you give them your business because theyve supported us, but you should give them your business because they're great to deal with. If my experience is indicative, you wont get a better deal anywhere else and arriving at what you want is painless.

In Ottawa we're not so lucky. Camco (Scamco) and Casino Acura have REALLY bad reputations. There's a reason why they're called "stealerships". For example, I called Camco (Scamco) for a quote on getting a clutch replaced and they quoted me $5100.00.
Sounds like it's worth the drive to Toronto for quality service and pricing.

Here is what they told me when I asked for a Club discount for Ottawa members.

"Why would we do that, they have to come to us anyways because we are the only Acura dealer around (along with Casino Acura, which they also own)."

All you Ottawa guys should bring your cars up here for some real service. Dont give your money to people who are being pricks about it.

I know I would drive the 4 hours to save $2500.00. I think their attitude of "we're a monopoly, so why compete, or treat our clients well" is despicable.

A lot of guys here are using independent shops, or as in my case, I've used Gatineau Honda. One of our members is the service manager there, so we're guaranteed to get all the attention we need.
