Are there holes behind the Acura logo, on the front bumper, or is it adhesive? Thinking about changing out to the Honda "H"...Thanks in advance

I think when I took off my 92 emblem there were 2 holes I purchased the newer 2002-2005 emblem and when I lined it up the hole from the Original were showing. and the pins from the newer emblem were different

the original and the newer style has 3m tape on it

I decided to keep the original and by the way I purchased the last Acura emblem in America at that time about 2 months ago.

Don't do it! I think it looks silly to make your car look like a Honda. It was badged as an Acura, not a Honda!

It would be like taking the Hummer badges off my Hummer and replacing them with "Chevrolet." Dumb!

Or, taking a Lmaborghini badge off and replacing it with Audi.

It is an Acura which is a fine line from Honda. Be proud of it!

Planning on doing that with mine. Rear is easy but the front will present a bit of a challenge to have done properly. Only thing is you'll be messing with the original factory paint...

+ 1 brother! Almost all my cars including my daily drivers have been Hondas with the exception of the 350z (my toy before the NSX). My suggestion to de-badge was purely a cosmetic thing. I think it would look pretty clean with no emblems, stickers/decals anywhere. I love that look. Did to my 99 Prelude when I painted the car to a metallic black...looked awesome and stealthy. If you prefer to have the logos on then that's exactly what you should do...eye of the beholder and all. It's your car dude!

It IS a Honda and clearly states "built by Honda" on the door sill and Honda prominently displayed on the engine.

The ONLY reason they invented Acura, was because of public perception that Honda stood for "inexpensive, reliable, bargain car" and Honda felt they could compete with the likes of Mercedes-Benz and BMW...but that nobody would pay BMW prices for a Honda product.

The Acura name only exists to enable them to sell over-priced "Hondas with leather" :D

O.K., so how does one remove the Acura emblem?

.

The car is a Honda made in japan as a Honda. What's silly is they put an Acura badge on it so Americans think its nicer than a Honda. Which you are right is DUMB!!!
